Attorney Robert A. Pearson, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a Louisiana licensed attorney and a founding partner of Pearson & Mitchell, LLC. He is a 2000 graduate of Catholic High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, with honors, in 2006 from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He then attended Southern University Law Center and earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, in 2010. While in law school, Mr. Pearson served as the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association and as an officer on Student Bar Association.
Mr. Pearson practices in the areas of Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Estate Planning and Successions. He is an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and has also been trained and certified to serve as a mediator in alternative dispute resolutions for both civil and domestic matters.
Mr. Pearson is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association. He was recognized as one of The National Black Lawyers Top 40 under 40 in 2016.
In addition to his legal career, Robert is an avid supporter of fostering a sense of achievement in our local youth through the participation in sports. He currently serves as a varsity basketball coach at Louise S. Mcgehee School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
